Event Overview

Hynafol Expeditions are immersive weekend adventures, where players dive deep into a world of medieval fantasy, camaraderie, and competition.

Held across various locations, these events are designed for both seasoned participants and new adventurers.

Each Expedition follows a Narrative arch, blending epic daytime battles with rich evening roleplay activities.

Ceremonies:
All events at Hynafol are bookended by the Opening and Closing ceremonies. These ceremonies set the stage for the Narrative of the weekend and include casted characters as well as players to bring the world of Hynafol to life.

Skirmishes:
Houses and Kingdoms form alliances and engage in various combat scenarios. These large-scale battles test the mettle of every warrior, archer, and tactician as players fight for territory, resources, and glory. Whether defending a fortress, raiding caravans, or engaging in skirmishes, the day is packed with action and adventure.

Quests:
Every adventure begins with a single step… and that’s exactly what quests are like at Hynafol, small adventures that take you to the next step of both your personal adventure and sometimes the next step in unraveling the narrative unfolding all around you. At each Expedition there are numerous quests for participants to complete. 

Guilds:
While Houses and Kingdoms vie for power on the battlefield the day-to-day activities of Guilds keep denizens busy with activities throughout the event.

Tournament:
Adventurers are nothing if not competitive! At each Expedition one tournament shall be held for coin, resources and glory! 

Evening Activities:
As the sun sets, the battlefield transforms into a realm of intrigue, diplomacy, and mystery. Players shift from combat to deep roleplay as auctions, trials, and ceremonies unfold. Treasures, artifacts, and rare items are bid upon at auctions, while trials test the honor and cunning of those accused. Quests and ceremonies offer further chances to impact the story, and bazaars spring to life, where merchants and craftsmen trade valuable goods.

Each Expedition offers a full day of immersive experience, where both combat prowess and roleplay skills are crucial to success. In Hynafol, every battle won or deal struck shapes the future of the Known World. Will you rise to the challenge?
