- Join a Kingdom and fight for control of land and resources.

Kingdoms & Houses
While the saga drives the fate of the world, the daily struggles of power play out through Kingdoms and Houses.
- Kingdoms are the great political powers tied to each court. They compete for territory, resources, and influence on a living virtual hex map that shifts as wars are won and lost. Think of it as a strategy game layered over the roleplay, borders expand and contract, and every campaign leaves a mark.
- Houses are player-created groups within a Kingdom. A House might be a family, a warband, or simply a circle of allies bound by loyalty or ambition. Houses rise and fall, scheme and trade, and sometimes even switch allegiances, which is often enough to change the balance of power.
Together, Kingdoms and Houses form the political heartbeat of Hynafol. They give structure to diplomacy, war, and ambition, ensuring that even beyond the great saga, players have endless opportunities to shape the world.
Guilds: Your Calling
Guilds are how you choose your vocation in Hynafol, the role you play in the economy, magic, and intrigue of the realm. Every guild is tied to one of three vital resources that drive the world forward: artifacts, ingredients, and gold.
- Priests & High-Priests use sacred artifacts to lead ceremonies, heal the fallen, and channel the will of their gods. The relics they guard are rare, powerful, and always in danger of being stolen.
- Alchemists gather rare ingredients to brew potions and poisons. Their creations can heal, harm, or unlock hidden truths, making them sought after by almost every guild.
- Guardians earn gold by keeping order. They protect ceremonies, investigate crimes, and uphold justice, serving as the realm’s militia and investigators.
- Rogues thrive in the shadows, turning coin and ingredients into power.
- Assassins take contracts to eliminate targets.
- Thieves acquire valuables, artifacts, or ingredients by stealth.
- Bards perform for crowds, trading art and influence for gold.
- The Crows are a guild exclusively for children. They serve as the realm’s letter carriers, delivering messages between players and earning coppers or trinkets as rewards.
