Courtly Night: Court of Valor

Lodging: Courtly Night is primarily an evening affair. Overnight lodging is not included.

Registration & arrival

All participants must be 18 years of age or older to register. 21+ to consume alcohol.

Check-in times will be posted, closer to the event, for the evening; please arrive on time to participate in opening ceremonies.

Venue & amenities

Courtly Night centers on indoor/outdoor spaces in a beautiful garden.

Safety & conduct

All attendees must follow staff directions and Hynafol’s Code of Conduct.

For new denizens of Hynafol, this event is the perfect entry into the world. Friendly concierges and guides will help you connect with guilds, kingdoms, and Guilds, while informational cast characters explain the rules of titles, land, and courtly play.

You’ll meet fellow players, discover the different factions, and learn the ropes through approachable roleplay and simple quests designed to draw you in. Whether you wish to ally with a guild, pursue a noble rank, or simply explore the bazaar and bardic showcases, Courtly Night offers countless ways to step into the story and become part of the realm.

Calling all Bards and performers! This is your chance to shine for all Hynafol Courtesans! Perform for coin, win favor and maybe find a patron!

Settle minor disputes, spark new rivalries, and plan skirmishes for the Grand Gathering.

Can I bring my own alcohol / is this a BYOB event?

No.

Are costumes required?

Yes, all Hynafol events require decorum clothing / medieval costumes.

Will there be combat at this event?

No. This is a political and roleplay focused event. 

Can I bring my larp weapons to this event?

The Stewards of Hynafol have declared that this Courtly Night should be free of physical conflict and will be confiscating all weapons besides daggers. Daggers should remain hidden and out of site. We understand the usefulness of a dagger for all manner of life and protection. You should bring a dagger.

What will the food be like?

Light appetizers and snacks will be available throughout the evening to keep you satiated. The food will not be a replacement for a full meal. Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free items will be available. Other food allergies may not be able to be accommodated. 

You may bring outside food, but it must be kept decorum at all times.

What is the parking situation?

A full parking plan will be available closer to the event date.
